On August 25, the Yantian Academic and Scientific International Exchange Center was officially unveiled at a ceremony held at the BGI Center.
The new center is the first dedicated international exchange hub in Yantian District and will focus on industry development, international exchanges, and academic and scientific collaboration.
Designed as a multifunctional platform, the center aims to attract international talent, bring together global resources, and facilitate open cooperation. It will host international delegations, conferences, academic and research exchanges, and professional networking activities, positioning itself as a focal point for cross-border engagement and knowledge sharing.
Earlier this year, Yantian released its Action Plan for Accelerating the Construction of an Internationalized Urban Area, which outlines five strategic priorities for internationalization, ranging from the district’s image and industrial development, to cooperation and exchanges, public services, and the living environment.
